Built by Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity Quilt Fundraiser for Green Home in Westford, MA

UMCW members Cindylee Gee and Elaine Nicholson are spearhearding a unique quilt project to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity.  The “Westford 2008” project, sponsored by UMCW, will raise funds for the Habitat for Humanity’s first ever “Green” home, to be built in Westford.

Local businesses, civic groups, organizations, and even families who donate to the project can have images of their buildings and residences sewn into the quilt.

The finished quilt will be donated to, and preserved by the Westford Historical Society. A similar quilt was made for the town of Littleton in 2001. For more information on this project, contact us via email.
