He has served for 20 years in New England at Worcester Korean UMC (2004-2009); Highland Avenue UMC in Gardner, ME (2009-2016); and presently at North Boston Korean UMC in Andover (2016-present). In his own words: “Throughout my journey, I've witnessed God's faithfulness, receiving numerous gifts, opportunities, and invaluable lessons. One of my ministerial focuses is supporting people's spiritual lives through spiritual formation and exercises.”

We, as members of SPRC, met with Jinyong Choi and the District Superintendent, Megan Stowe. We found Jinyong to be honest, interesting, and warm with creative ideas of working with youth and growing our congregation. He will begin his ministry here at UMCW on July 1st. Please support him as he begins this new journey with our church.
